Too often Government trade delegations will include representatives from big business - and we then wonder why agreements are so skewed in their favour. I am not sure where the following would best sit but I would like to propose that:
All UK trade delegations be required to include at least one of each:
- A Top 10 hypergrowth company of the year in question
- Meeting 2/3 of following:
* Fewer than 20 employees
* Established within the last 2 years
* A spin-out of UK University technology
This is just a suggestion for a proposal, not a completed proposal. It
should be turned into a proper proposal by editing the original document.
Debate and voting can then happen there.
